Tera Rewards.
Hello there.
I've been playing tera NA for about 6 months (up untill the latest patch in which i returned to EU) and i have been comparing alot of things between the two.
Im not as naive as to ask to become like tera NA, but i do think they have 1 thing we would actually benefit from and it is the TERA Reward system.
Now, that system, is actually a "semi cash shop" divided to several tiers in which the higher the tier, the better stuff you could buy and the more account privilages you would have (such as enhanced exp gain in tera NA). In order to buy said items, which in tera NA went from boosts to costumes, you would need Reward Credits that are obtainable (in NA) by completing VGs and/or purchasing currency for the cash shop (rates of 10 to 1 credit in NA).
Many would say it's a way to boost up those P2W players but i on the other hand disagree, since there are ways to advance while still not investing any cash.
pros to gameforge:
-increased interest for tera shop active players.
-increased purchase of tera thalers in order to advance in the tier shop.
-will give a fake sense of accomplishment that will take away from the horrible feelings of failing all your TT on rng boxes.
pros to players:
-low tiers are easy to access therefor benefitting the lowbie free playing farmers.
-high tiers hold valuable costumes and such, thus benefitting long time players who've spent their fair share of cash.
i would love to hear opinions of others, specifically those who had their fair share of tera NA in order to give in a little more on the subject.
p.s.
